RC and modules
Hello,

I have tested your Release Candidate with some of my modules.
For example with userpage.
First, every text (but it's not related to my modules), containing an accentual character like in Hervé generate an error while database addition.

Secondly, concerning the modules and especially the module's preferences, in some module the textbox parameters are not visible while they are visible in some others...
I think that textbox parameters containing integers runs perfectly but to textboxes for texts.

bye,
Hervé

Autrement, je rejoins Minahito dans les testes de compatibilité des modules sur les pages wiki.
Merci pour tout autre renseignement.

I tested your userpage module a few minitus ago,
and I saw as what you reported.

But I also found your xoops_version.php contains TYPO

for Example
$modversion['config'][3]['formtype'] = 'texbox';

Should be
$modversion['config'][3]['formtype'] = 'textbox';

In XOOPS2.0.x formtype had default value ('textbox')
but XOOPS Cube Legacy 2.1 has not.
So unknown formtype will be ignored.

I'm was confused about it too, so I replace the 'texbox' with another kind of field..... anyway, I'm running the Herve's News since 1.50 with XOOPS Cube (beta & RC) with no problems,,,

AH! Important: new tables (from a first install) and upgraded tables are differents,... maybe a problem with the upgrade scripts. Still that, the module works, but.... :-/

Re: RC and modules
Hello Richard,

I suppose that the problem is related to Xoops Cube's core ?

Else, we have just released a new version of our community module called "Userpage", it is now compatible with Xoops Cube :
