XOOPS Cube license Hi,
this is my first post and wanted to thank you for developing this system! I put a little confused by reference to the form of licensing, it is possible to know exactly what is under the BSD license and what under the GPL? I wonder if there really is something quite basic xoopscube without a mixture of licenses? without modules, a basic installation xoopscube bsd licensed greetings |

Re: XOOPS CUBE LICENSE VIOLATION Hi megabr,
The modified (new) BSD license doesn't conflict with GPL. So the core layer takes the modified BSD license. And the base layer takes the GPL license. See: http://xoopscube.org/uploads/imgfc1ffefa78d6c610ac9c5.png "CORE" and "Manager" are within the core layer (the modified BSD license). "BASE" can takes any licenses that don't conflict the modified BSD license. Our core layer doesn't have any code of XOOPS2 and GPL. Legacy is the BASE module that is compatible with XOOPS2.0.10 and takes GPL. The XOOPS Cube project is going to develop a new type CMS under the modified BSD license. But, many users need compatibility. So we released Legacy BASE module. |

Re: XOOPS Cube license in this case all source code called
"XOOPS Cube Legacy 2.1.7" is release under GPL correct? how can I separate all gpl code from "XOOPS Cube Legacy 2.1.7" to release under new bsd license? http://idcx.org/img/xoops.jpg http://idcx.org/img/bsdgpl.jpg |

And, we can pack those to the same package, if there are not conflicts. XOOPS Cube Legacy BASE Module is released under GPL. Quote: Thank you for nice figures. A second figure is not correct. The Legacy BASE Module is not under the new BSD license.
